چکیده
• A comparison of mechanochemically activated and conventionally geopolymer grouts. The influence slag/fly ash ratio sodium hydroxide molarity in grouts behavior. Mechanochemical activation processes effect on rheological fresh characteristics. Effect mechanochemical mechanism mechanical properties grout. In this research, a (MG) grout is adopted to activate slag, fly ash, hydroxide, silicate by dry grinding ball mill for 2 h, after which water the only additive required initiate geopolymerization reaction. (CG) was also evaluated purposes. Twenty-four different slag mixtures have been prepared at ratios (0S100F, 50S50F, 75S25F, 100S0F) three molarities (1.25, 2.5, 3.75) assess behavior both MG CG series tests were examined, such as characteristics, setting time, bleeding, unconfined compressive strength (UCS), ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV), scanning electron microscopy (SEM). experimental results showed that technique reduced characteristics (setting time bleeding) compared conventional process. Considering properties, UCS UPV higher than Furthermore, content concentration significantly affected rheological, fresh, all regardless method. Both increased considerably with increase molar content. Whereas bleeding capacity dramatically

Preparation and Properties of Alkali Activated Metakaolin-Based Geopolymer
The effective activation and utilization of metakaolin as an alkali activated geopolymer precursor and its use in concrete surface protection is of great interest. In this paper, the formula of alkali activated metakaolin-based geopolymers was studied using an orthogonal experimental design. It was found that the optimal geopolymer was prepared with metakaolin, sodium hydroxide, sodium silicate...
متن کاملALKALI Activated FLY-ASH Based Geopolymer Concrete
Considering the increasing demand for developing alternative construction materials, due to the growing environmental concerns, this paper discusses the feasibility of alkali activated geo-polymer concrete, as a future construction material. The main objective of this study involves observation of structural behaviours of the fresh fly ash-based geo-polymer concrete, understanding the basic mix...
متن کاملComparison of Chemical Grout Properties
Chemical grout use began seriously some thirty years ago with the use of only a few types; silicates, acrylamide, epoxy, and some fatty acid derivates. Since then, the kinds of grout have proliferated with some of the originals still there, others dropping out entirely, and still others changing in type. This paper is about the current uses of chemical grouts, the economics of product use, and ...
متن کاملRheology of Geopolymer: Comparative Study between Portland Cement and Metakaolin Based Geopolymer
Metakaolin based geopolymers are presented in many studies as an alternative to normal Portland cement. Previous studies have focused on their chemical and mechanical properties, their microstructures and their potential uses, but very few on their rheological behaviour. Our work highlights the main differences that exist between geopolymer and Portland cement. These materials behave as Newtoni...
متن کاملInvestigation of Mechanical Properties of Lithium-Based Geopolymer Composites Reinforced with Basalt Fibers
Recently, geopolymer binders have been considered because of low cost, simple processes for synthesis and many raw materials in nature. Geopolymer with brittle nature does not have high strength and cannot be used alone for structural materials. Therefore, to use in different structures, the composite which is reinforced with fibers such as carbon, glass, basalt, etchasbeen used. In this resear...
